LITIGATION PARALEGAL
[HYBRID/REMOTE]
We are seeking an additional LITIGATION PARALEGAL. With a commitment to delivering top-tier service to our clients, we are looking for a dedicated professional who can navigate the complexities of litigation support with precision and diligence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EXPERIENCE: 3-7 years of experience as a paralegal/senior paralegal with a strong preference for those who have worked at a litigation law firm in LA County. Experience in business, real estate, family law, and/or related contract litigation matters is highly desirable.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal certification.
- LOCATION: Live and work experience in LA County.
- COMMUNICATION: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Spanish Speaking Optional.

- Detailed oriented, diligent, and able to “hit the ground running.”
- Accept criticism and direction well.
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and work ethic.
- Professional appearance.
- TECHNOLOGY: Advanced skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe, Dropbox, Zoom, Slack, Asana, Lexis, Rutters Guides. Home office in a quiet professional location (no background noise).
- REFERENCES: Trustworthy, dependable, and clear background report.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- LITIGATION MANAGEMENT: Manage client files in litigation, including auditing files and preparing Monthly Status Reports.
- POST-JUDGMENT COLLECTIONS: Handle post-judgment collection tasks such as bank levies, wage garnishments, and liens.
- LEGAL DOCUMENT DRAFTING: Draft legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, answers, default judgment packages, and discovery.
- LEGAL RESEARCH: Conduct legal research and analyze findings to support casework.
- BACKGROUND REPORTS: Conduct and analyze background checks and reports.
- TRIAL PREPARATION: Assist in trial preparation as assigned by Counts Law Firm, PC.
- BILLABLE HOURS
- Billable Hour Requirement: Minimum 5 hours per day
- Bonus: 6-7+ hours per day
- Other projects as assigned by Managing Attorney.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- JOB TYPE: Full-Time
- SCHEDULE: 8:30AM – 5:30PM w/1-hour unpaid lunch and (2) paid 15-minute breaks
- WORK LOCATION: Hybrid/Remote (2x per month in-office)
